About Andrew McConnach

Accomplished artist Andrew McConnach is inspired by the mandala
– a symbol that has been used in meditation, protection and healing in many world cultures throughout history. Interwoven in the pieces is a worldwide visual language of trees. Since Andrew completed his masters in 1994 he has continued to produce much material for various solo and group exhibitions.

Born Lewes, Sussex, in 1961. Foundation Studies - Watford School of Art -1985. BA Hons - Painting Central St.Martins, London Institute 1986 -1989. Stichting Kunst & Complex in Rotterdam 1989- 1990. MA - Fine Art Printmaking Brighton University 1992- 1994. Pensarn Painter 1998-2005 Omega Street Printmaker 2007-2008
