Andrew is inspired by the mandala – a symbol that has been used in meditation, protection and healing in many world cultures throughout history.
He has worked in numerous primary schools, secondary schools and colleges in England and Wales, with a large variety of age groups, using the art history of mandala-making as a basis for students to explore their own designs. Andrew has also worked with adults and children that have a large range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, using the same skills as in mainstream education.
Since Andrew completed his masters in 1994 he has continued to produce for solo and group exhibitions. Andrew has his studio in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
